What was the greatest ting you've done in your career as an artist?

One of the biggest things was doing the inauguration for President Barack Obama and then doing the Queen's jubilee. Those are big moments. Another moment was our fist concert that we ever did in front of 20 people when we first started the group. That gave us the belief that we could do other things.

 

What was you dream as a child?

  When I was about 12 I wanted to be a scientist. Then I met Apple (from the Black Eyed Peas) and music was the thing I wanted to do. We had original dreams to put a record out and go to London. Then we'd say "Imagine one day that we go to Japan". And we did! " Imagine one day we play the MTV music awards". And we did! All the things that we dreamt happened.

Do you have and idol?

My mon and my grandma. Another person is Elon Musk, who created SpaceX...and sends people into space.

And kids! I saw a 9-year-old who could vuild a robot and write code to make a Lego wals upstairs. Kids do amazing things. Ciode writers - they are my idols.

Mireia: Hi, Mònica. did you go out last night?
Mònica: No, I stayed in and watched TV.
Mireia: Oh? What was on?
Mònica: That new reallity show on Channel 5.
Mireia: Oh, yes? Was it any good?
Mònica: No, it was awful. There was an horrible singer on it. Didn't you see it?
Mireia: No, I missed it. I was playing football.
Mònica: You should try to watch it next time. It's really funny to see how much awful they are.
Mireia: Ok then, I will.

Mònica - A sandwitch picnic was a great idea, Mireia.
Mireia - Yes, thanks, I'm looking forward to it.
Mònica - Have we got everything?
Mireia -Well, we've got enough dring, but there isn't much to eat.
Mònica - Shall I get a lot of packets of crisps or something? There's ashop near here.
Mireia- Would you mind?
Mònica - No, that's fine.
Mireia - Thanks, Mònica. Could you get a box of apples too? And we need a bar of chocolate.
Mònica- OK, no problem. I'll see what they've got.

MY DREAMS

Hi, I'm Mireia and my dream is to become the best journalist of the world. But, to become the best journalist I have challenges. One of the challenges is: I am 14 years old, and I'm studying secondary in Casa Nostra School. I'm going to work a lot to study in the best university of the world. I think, the best solution is to work a lot every day, and study a lot. Another challenge is: there is a lot of competition, because a lot of people have the same dream like me. The solution is the same, if I studied a lot I'm going to satisfy my dream, if I don't study a lot, another person is going to become the best journalist.

Mireie:Oh, hi Mònica. Who's that boy over there?

Mònica:The boy with the blond hair?

Mireie: No, the boy with red skirt. He's talking with Blanca.

Mònica:Oh, yes. What about him?

Mireie: Does he go to our school?

Mònica: Yes, that's Asif Bubbles. He's in Year 3rd. Why?

Mireie: He looks nice. She's got a friendly face.

Mònica: He's OK, but you aren't his type, Mireie. He likes beautiful girls!

Mireie: Oh, that's a pity. Never mind. 

MY BEST FRIEND - UNIT 1

Mónica Nogué and I are friends. Mónica doesn't live near me, she live in Can Puig. She lives in a n interesting house. We go to the same school, and the same class.

Mónica is fourteen years old, She's quite tall and she's got short brown hair. The good thing about her is that she´s very friendly although is very very orderly.

Mónica is happiest when she's playing the piano and the guitar. she likes going out and meeting other people. Usually she's going to my house, or I'm going to her house, it depends on the day. She also likes dancing and sometimes we do that together.

MY LAST SUMMER HOLIDAYS

 TRANSCRIPTION:

Hi, My name is Mireia and I'm going to talk about my last summer holidays.

First I'm going to talk about Bournemouth.

Second I'm going to talk about Platja D'aro.

And Finally I'm going to talk about Banyoles and Mieres.

I stayed in Bournemouth for 3 weeks. I travelled there with Mònica, and another people from Barcelona, Vic... I stayed there in a host family with another girl from Brasil.

In the morning we practised a lot of activities, and in the afternoon we did classes. The first day we did and exam, the exam was very , very boring. Every evening we met all the people of my group and another people from other countries in a pub or in the beach. It was a really, really good experience, I miss a lot all the people I met there.

When I came back to Bournemouth I went to Platja D'aro and I stayed there 3 weeks. I met a lot of people there, Pau, Pol, Carla, Miquel and another friends with another cities but mainly in the first week, Núria. I went to the beach with Nuria and then we went to “LLAGUR”to eat, it's a ioghourt shop, It was delicious. Every night Nuria and me, and other people went to BLACK AND WHITE it's a disco, it was very funny. In the 2nd and 3rd weeks my cousin Berta arrived to Platja D'Aro, we went to the beach, shopping, cinema, disco... I spent a great time there.

After that, I stayed in Banyoles for 2 weeks more or less. I went to the “Club” with my friends and there we swam in the lake, we played cards... or I went to “La Draga” It's a park, I went with my friends too and there we met other people...

And finally I went to Mieres for the “Festa Major” it's a typical party. In Saturday evening every year there was a dinner and then a concert, but this year I have a party in Carlota's and Barbara's house.

It was a fantastic summer!
